Four days with Jo will be spent in a beautiful setting at Lied Lodge, just one of many attractions in Nebraska City, where Jo and Russ reside.

For Jo’s spring retreat, bring your sewing machine, you will learn Jo’s helpful hints for accuracy and her pressing tips.  August Retreat will focus on ‘handwork’, including appliqué methods and hand piecing and a bit more. sewing

Highlight of the seminar – To inspire you, Jo will share quilts and other items that she does not travel with. She will also give you a “sneak peek” at new fabrics and quilts, plus a few other surprises!

Shop in “Jo’s Store” (it magically opens twice a year) – stocked with her books, fabrics, and some of her favorite notions. Maybe some surprises too!

Breakfast is included with your room reservation if you are staying at Lied Lodge. Lunch and continuous break service bar Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday are included.

You will probably want to arrive at least one day early and go to Lincoln, NE to the International Quilt Study Center and Museum (http://www.quiltstudy.org/) to see the current exhibit.

Eppley Airport in Omaha is 50 miles north of Nebraska City. Lincoln is 50 miles west from Nebraska City. Lincoln and Omaha are also approximately 50 miles apart. Lied Lodge has a shuttle service from Eppley Airport to Lied Lodge, you call Lied Lodge to make those arrangements and they will tell you the fee.
