Greetings! It is Wednesday, our favorite day of the week, and this week it happens to be the day before Thanksgiving, I know you may not check out our blocks this morning while getting ready for Thursday with family and/or friends. The block will be waiting when you have time to go sew! Family first, always.
I’m grateful and thankful for many blessings in my life. Life certainly isn’t perfect, but it is my kind of perfect. We will spend the day with Russ’s side of the family at our nieces home, it will be just perfect because we are together.
This weeks question – – – favorite family tradition? Actually none, just being together whether it is Russ’s side of our family or my side of our family. It doesn’t matter to me, just being together is what counts. Time will stand still for a while, deadlines will be put on the back burner, we will put our families first, just perfect.
This week is the ‘Peace and Plenty’ block by our friend Betsy Chutchian. I’m happy it is her week as the block name is what Thanksgiving is for us.
You will find the block directions on Betsy’s Blog: http://betsysbestquiltsandmore.blogspot.com/
Be sure and check our friends Blogs for their versions of this block:
