Google Reader is going away July 1

So many of you receive Blog posts through Google Reader to view posts of people you follow.  It was really nice to have but that is changing Monday July 1.

Sometimes change isn’t so good, is it.

You will have to have another reader by Monday July 1st to fill your needs because I want to keep in touch with you!

One other thing you can do, is go here:    http://jomortonquilts.com/jos_journal/

It is my Jo’s Journal page, along the right side is a place to enter your email address to ‘subscribe to Blog via email’, this is a good solution until each of you figure out how you want to handle how you follow Blogs.

Have a nice day!   🙂

Holiday – and catch up

Russ and I enjoyed the Oregon Coast so very much, including the redwoods near Crescent City, CA .  We  meandered back up to Portland to fly home Saturday May 25th.  So happy that Spring Quilt Market was in Portland and that we stayed on for this little Holiday enjoying the beautiful area.  I found out that I like ‘Holiday’ very much, will be doing more of them.

My problem – can’t Blog (or maybe I don’t know how to, and don’t really have the time or patience to research it, there is important quilt related work to do) with pictures from my iPhone or iPad, so I kept in touch using Instagram, the pictures and blurb are pushed to Facebook.

Early in June had an awesome time with the Gems of the Prairie Quilt Guild in Peoria, IL – wonderful ladies in my classes, really great time.  Russ went with me and did some touring around Peoria and enjoyed a couple of museums.  After class on Saturday we drove a couple of hours to visit our friends south of Springfield.  We drove back up to Springfield on Monday and toured the Lincoln Home and the Lincoln Museum – wonderful day – the trip included a ‘mini’ Holiday, we like these too!

I spent a week in New York working on future fabric later in June, we worked until 5:30pm last Saturday the last day of work.  I’m very excited about the ‘future’ including the rest of this year’s groups.  Stay tuned, keep those needles moving!

That is the quick update, will try to do better this summer – it is officially now summer.

Happy Stitching!
