Quiltmania Autumn 2012

Not to be confused with Quiltmania, No 91, Sept/Oct 2012, the regular magazine, 6 issues per year, see my post about Baby Emma is a cover girl.

The Quiltmania Special is published four times a year, I have two quilts in ‘Autumn 2012’, it can also be purchased as a subscription, hopefully you can find it in Barnes & Noble, or on Quiltmania website, or try your local quilt shop.  The other issues are obviously Spring, Summer and Winter.

This is one of my projects ‘Wild Goose Chase’, I really love this quilt, had fun playing with stripes, it has lovely vintage appeal.  Classic quilts never go out of style.

Wild Goose Chase with Bird Chintz fabric for the border.

Next is  a sweet small quilt in this issue, it will  be in my new book this Fall, ‘For All Seasons’.

Pomegranate sweet small quilt.

Many hours of happy stitching and sewing in your future!

    • Actually I don’t know, I saw it on their website and lifted the jpegs to use. I’ll be in Houston and ‘at’ their booth, not sure if I’ll be near a B&N in the meantime.

  1. Can’t wait for my issue to arrive to see more lovely Jo quilts . Quiltmania is such a great mag. They seem to have found the secret of what quilters really want in a Magazine.
Best wishes Jo from Sue in the UK .I’m sure Sue M and the general send regards too.

  2. I love the leaves!! I still pick them up, along with acorns, and bring them home. I love apples too, but have you noticed how expensive they are this year!!! I guess there was a weather growing problem. I love your fabrics and was so excited to see Baby Emma on Quiltmania. I have not found the Autumn issue yet. I am currently working on the Prarie Flowers center panel. Oh, and one more thing, I would love to win one of the fabric gifts. Thank you for thinking of us. Looking forward to the new book.

  3. Hi, I purchased my first issue of Quilt Mania yesterday, 10-20-2012 and had to seach the internet to find out where I could get some back issues. I really like the patterns. How and where can I subscribe to the mag? Thanks for help.
